A traveling exhibition and weekly podcast edited and hosted by Michael Nye, supported by the San Antonio Food Bank, Eric Cooper, executive director. We are grateful for the honesty and eloquence of every voice. Episode 20, Belinda.

Belinda:  Hunger is going either completely without food or having very, very little food for long periods of time. Now that I’m older, looking back on my childhood and everything, I do realize now that we did have it pretty hard. We always just had just a little bit of food. My parents, you know, did the best they could as far as keeping us fed. But I just thought professional people like movie stars ate good all the time. I need the every hour. It’s always just been the one song that I love to sing. (Singing, I need the every hour).
